Kremlin said,RussiachairmanPutin(Vladimir Putin) will attend the “BRICS” video summit tomorrow to discuss the war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic group “Hamas”.
Agence France-Presse reports,South AfricaPresident Cyril Ramaphosa will chair the meeting in hopes of crafting a joint response to the Israel-Kazakhstan war that has raged for more than six weeks.
The Kremlin said: “On November 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend a special (video) summit of the BRICS to discuss the conflict between Palestine and Israel.” No further details were given.
BRICS countries include Russia, Brazil, India, China and South Africa.
South Africa said United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will also participate in the video conference and a joint statement is expected to be issued at the end.
