The Hong Kong government said the Chief Executive’s Advisory Group is chaired by the Chief Executive, and the first term of the Advisory Group will be effective immediately until June 30, 2025.
The Hong Kong Government explained that the Consultative Group is a high-level advisory body that advises the Chief Executive on Hong Kong’s strategic development to capture development opportunities in China and the world.
The Hong Kong government said that Hong Kong is fully on its way to normalcy after the epidemic, and as the most important gateway connecting the country and the world, it is actively returning to the international stage. Establishment of an advisory group is particularly timely and important.
Li Jiachao said that the members of the advisory group come from outstanding and outstanding leaders in various fields, and some members are internationally renowned scholars and experts. He is perfectly suited to provide sharp insight and wise suggestions on the long-term strategic development of Hong Kong.
He said the consultative group would be grouped according to three key directions, namely, high-quality economic and sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship, and regional and global cooperation.
According to the list released by the Hong Kong government, the 34 members include a number of prominent government officials and figures from political, business, academic and professional circles. Guifang Group Chairman Alan Zeman, Standard Chartered Chief Executive Officer Hong Pizeng Bank Asia, and others.
