Four senior Lebanese officials and three French officials revealed that French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourn handed a written agreement to Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikat last week, divided into three phases and a total of 10 days. The primary goal is to prevent conflict. “in danger of spiraling out of control” and allowing both sides to implement a “possible ceasefire” if “conditions are favourable” and eventually negotiate the demarcation of the disputed border between Israel and Lebanon.
