The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said they received a report that a black bear was seen in a tree at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Commission biologists and law enforcement officials said the adult female bear had been captured.
FloridaA Disney spokesperson said the temporarily closed areas of the Magic Kingdom, including Frontierland, Liberty Square and Adventureland, have since reopened.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said the bear would be relocated to an area in or near the Ocala National Forest. Ocala National Forest is located just north of Disneyland and downtown Orlando.
During autumn, bears become more active in search of food to store fat for the winter, the commission said in a statement. Said bear may have been passing through the area in search of food.
